It’s doing the job.

So far, so good. I took out the hinges, but kept them as a backup if my knee starts hurting again. But this brace has enabled me to run pain-free for the first time in years. I've done 20+ miles of running in the 8 days since I've started wearing the brace and pain is non-existent. Some slight bunching in the knee pit area, sizing was hard because I'm right on the edge of sizing options, but sized down to avoid slippage and feels pretty damn comfortable

I play Roller Derby and have been dealing with on and off knee pain for months I use this brace while I'm playing and in practice and I have full rain of motion in my knee and the pain subsides almost immediately considering getting another for my other knee. I also have the cooling sleeve and absolutely love it.

I'm 54. I started roller skating sporadically 2 yrs ago. Lately, Ive been skating more often. Just in a rink, no biggie. Except I started to be able to go fast. What a kick. Then I started to be able to go long. What a badass. The more I did it, the better I got & the more I believed my own hype. Then my LCL reminded me that I'm not actually a hot young roller girl, but a middle-aged widow with bad knees. Just a sprain, but enough to sideline me for weeks. So I took some time off, got this brace & let me tell you, it is giving me my groove back. I tried another first & it was terrible: hot neoprene, itchy velcro straps, bunching behind the knee. This Old Bones one is just terrific, giving enough resistance to keep my lateral movement in check but enough stretch that I can comfortably get down in my knees. It also stays in place really well, This is allowing me to return to skating & feel confident & comfortable. Also cool for later: the ability to remove the hinges when I'm fully recovered & use it as a compression sleeve. Whether you're taking up something new or reviving an old love for a sport, consider this for troublesome knees that dont feel as young as your heart does.

I wasn't sure what to expect with a brace after having knee and hip surgery only a couple months ago and I was still in pain and using a cane. What did happen is literally after putting the brace on, I instantly got stability back which in turn, lead to more confidence in my ability to walk. The very next day, walking with no cane and minimal pain. Its been 2 weeks now and I feel incredible.
Perfect fit, super comfortable, my leg doesn't sweat like a neoprene brace would and the removable hinges are a nice touch.

I will start by saying that I was a skeptic, I own quite a few knee braces and never really got the movement and confidence with other braces like I got with these, would recommend hundred percent worth the money. just do it and don’t look back. A skateboarder in my late 50’s

I am so impressed. Went thru several knee braces and the pain never left. I was loosing hope and patience that I would be able to get enough help with the pain to even walk at the room. Once my brace came the pain seemed to settle down and than desolve. I walked carefully the first day and by day 3 I spent several hours on my feet and 7 miles worth of dog training for search and rescue
No pain. Thank you. Getting my active life back. For the record I am 72, hurt my knee running and chasing dogs for training. Also work. So yeah. Get me back out there!

I’m a skier with a hypermobility disorder and I noticed a huge difference wearing these on my last trip - I actually felt them prevent my knees from moving in the wrong way a couple times. Also, as a thick thigh gal, I love that these come in truly inclusive sizing!

I love these knee braces after a couple years of daily use I wore them out and I am replacing them with the exact same ones I purchased the first time I bought from you guys and I would recommend them to my friends & family who are looking for something similar.🤙

I’m a skateboarder and I recently messed up my acl soon as I put the old bones therapy competition sleeve with hinges on I immediately could fell the difference I now have full mobility back thanks guys for helping me get back to doing what i love .

Excellent quality and fitment. I had both knees injured initially over 30 years ago. Add additional age, injuries and wear and my knees have become an absolute wreck. These compression sleeves are super helpful. I have a lot of issues with my knees giving out on me at work. I'm on my feet all day long on concrete. Constantly walking everywhere and having to bend down and sit on my knees working on stuff. At the end of the day my knees will be swollen hurting so bad I can barely walk. In the morning it's even worse when I wake up initially. These sleeves give my knees the support they need at work to ensure that I don't have extreme pain all the time. I'm definitely considering getting a second set to have for even on general use when I'm walking places outside of work.

With each step, I know that my knee will be closer to or in the right position when I put weight on it not worried about knee pain for my knee being in the wrong position to put weight on it thank you

I have hypermobile knees, made worse by an old injury. I have relied on standard velcro strap neoprene braces since 2009, as no sleeves have ever stayed in place.
Fast forward to now, my left knee does what it wants when it wants, including inappropriate twisting, side to side motion outside of normal, and buckling without warning, forcing me to rely on my cane most days. I havent had a day without some level of knee pain in at least 10 years.
I put this brace on and within 30 seconds almost started to cry at the near instant relief I got from the pain and weakness. I was able to walk 3 houses down unassisted, without pain or buckling, and NO limping. My hips are going to be so happy.
Thanks for giving me my life back.

For sizing: thighs measure at exactly 21" so I got the XL, a smidge snug on my upper thigh but gives the perfect amount of compression for my knee, which was the goal. Even with bordering on too snug at the top, no rolling or slipping after wearing for 4 hours on a sweaty summer afternoon of running errands. And it doesnt cut off my circulation or dig anywhere, unlike past braces. 10 stars if I could. They have literally thought of everything.

Such a great product. I would not be able to skateboard or snowboard everyday without these compression sleeves. Thank you!

I have fibromyalgia and have constant knee joint pain and issues with walking with a wobbling. I was at risk for spraining my knees. It instantly changed as soon as I put these on. I could walk straight and the braces immediately took the strain off my hip joints, which made my hip pain go away too! The additional compression helps the pain associated with my illness. I'm blown away at how amazing this product is. I'm a firm believer and want one of everything for all my other aches and pains in my joints. Thank you to Brandon for developing this line of products. You're changing lives! I can't wait to get back into my online skates again!

I'm 62 and an avid mountain biker.
My knees are worn out. "5 to 6 years left" per my surgeon.
I wear my knee sleeves whenever I'm sore from over use or if I'm going to be on my feet or doing labor in the yard. They feel great and give a lot of support. They do get hot but the support is worth it.

Between November of 2022 and March of 2023, I sprained my left MCL twice. After the first sprain I wore a regular neoprene compression brace for about six weeks, but after the second sprain I had to come to terms with the fact that, if I wasn't careful, this could become an ongoing problem that may affect not only my skateboarding, but my general mobility and well-being.
I had known about Old Bones for a while, and after hearing nothing but good things about their products, I thought the hinged knee brace would be a good investment. It's definitely given me more security on my board, both physically and mentally. Further, despite being snug and secure, it doesn't feel restrictive - I feel just as comfortable skating both street and transition while wearing it as I did before.
I'm now a dyed-in-the-wool supporter of Old Bones, and wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend any of their products to anyone who feels they need a bit of support to continue being active at a high level.

10 yrs of Roller Derby put a lot of wear on my knees and the support these hinged braces give is fantastic. I have chronic knee pain and these help to alleviate most of that. Now the not so positive... I've always had thick thighs and measured in at 24 inches.. I ordered the XXL and the top cuff tends to roll down a bit but gets stopped by the side supports. Occasional adjustment is needed so a slightly larger size would be perfect.

Got this as an upgrade from the OG compression knee sleeve. Wore it every day on a recent snowboard trip out west and boy am I glad I did. Took a spill dorking around in the powder and wrenched my knee something fierce on day two of a week long shred mission. If I wasn’t wearing this, it would have been game over for the trip for me. Every day I used the Old Bones Therapy ice knee wrap after riding and was able to ride every day open til close on the mountain. Had it not been for the hinged knee brace and ice wrap, my trip would have consisted of hangin in the lodge while my buds ripped all day.
