"Just what I was looking for. Gets real cold which is perfect for my jacked shoulder. 🤘🏼"
"The shoulder sleeve works great. Due to its design, it covers the area better than an ice pack would and better provides the cooling needed for my aching shoulder."
"Bought this for my wife who has a shoulder injury and joint laxity, and it's nice to have a hot pack that stays where it's put."
Shoulder Recovery Gear
Shoulders get sore from lifting, throwing, paddling and reaching overhead all day, and they take hard hits in falls and crashes. They're also awkward to ice: a flat pack slides off a round joint the moment you move.
The Shoulder Ice Sleeve
The Shoulder Ice Sleeve is our shoulder ice pack: flexible gel built into a soft, stretchy cover shaped like a shoulder. It caps the top of the joint and wraps the upper arm, and an adjustable strap across the chest holds it in place, so your hands are free while you sit, eat or work. Freeze it for cold or warm it for heat, and run it 15 to 20 minutes at a time. One size fits either shoulder; if your arms are on the slim side, tighten the chest strap to keep the gel close.
After Surgery or an Injury
Customers use it at home after shoulder surgery and alongside physical therapy, since it's cordless and you can move around while you ice. It works over a shirt or a bandage, just a little more gently than on bare skin. Your surgeon's icing plan comes first, including how long and how often.
It's a recovery sleeve, not a brace, so it won't hold an injured shoulder still. For when a sling or a provider visit comes first, read our guide to shoulder braces and supports. Searching for a shoulder compression sleeve? Our shoulder compression sleeves page explains how the Shoulder Ice Sleeve fits that search. Every ice sleeve we make is on our ice sleeves page.
When to See a Provider
After a fall or a hard hit, get checked if you can't lift your arm, the shoulder looks out of place, or numbness or weakness runs down your arm. Shoulder pain that comes with chest pain or shortness of breath needs emergency care right away.

FAQs
How do I get the Shoulder Ice Sleeve cold?
Put it in the freezer for at least 2 hours. The gel stays flexible when frozen, so it wraps the joint instead of sitting stiff on top. For heat, warm it following the instructions that come with it.
Can I wear the Shoulder Ice Sleeve during a workout?
It's not made for that. Use it after a session, or whenever the shoulder is sore, for 15 to 20 minutes at a time with a break in between. It's a recovery tool rather than something to lift or play in.
Do you make a shoulder brace?
No. Our shoulder gear is the Shoulder Ice Sleeve, which is for cold and heat, not for holding the joint still. If a provider wants your shoulder in a sling or brace, follow that first and use the sleeve alongside it when they say it's okay.
Is the Shoulder Ice Sleeve a compression sleeve?
Not really. The stretchy cover and chest strap hold it snug so the gel stays in contact, but it's built for 15 to 20 minute sessions of cold or heat, not for wearing all day like a compression sleeve.
Why not just use a regular ice pack on my shoulder?
A flat pack slides off a round shoulder the moment you move, so you end up holding it in place. The Shoulder Ice Sleeve caps the joint and wraps the upper arm, and the chest strap keeps it there, so the cold stays put and your hands stay free.
