As a pro wrestler i wear my spring knee braces every night for training or when i have a match. Even with all the sliding around the ring or the bumps and roll i take they stay right where they should! And with the gel knees i also use these in replacement of my knee pads.

I bought the knee brace with springs prior to a family trip to Disney World. A week of walking adding up to 77 miles. If I didn’t have this brace then it would not have been possible. 10/10 recommend to everyone. The best part is that when I saw someone else in the park with an Old Bones brace on, we talked about how much of a game changer it was for 10 minutes. Stoked!
These things are incredible. I’ve been doing action sports all my life and have only recently considered things like braces and compression sleeves for my ailing joints and body. And having used these pretty extensively now I can be confident when I say that these are unreal. Only when they’re on weird/I don’t have them on quite all the way do my knees suffer while I’m riding my bike. They work very well and I’m intent on getting the standard pair to wear at work when I have the cash to spare. But damn, are they worth the money and then some.
I have both the regular compression and now the spring compression knees. To me they feel the same, so all I can say is my knees ain't that bad yet? Love both of them using them for support during the active haunt acting season.
Also those days when walking down the stairs when I have not warmed up enough apparently and my knees say "no bueno!".
I did purchase the spring knees as one reviewer said they don't roll as much, have the most rolling when I wear them all day, at work, under pants, and I am crawling around through the piping trying to fix or get into a tight space and inspect something. Sooo... maybe not totally what they were designed for.
They do make the stilts more comfortable though so that is good.

Had my surgery today finally (after 5 months of dealing with getting Medicaid approval). Tried a bunch of different sleeves and these are the best. Cool colors but even better quality. Great compression while comfortable to wear. Awesome support around the kneecap. They stay much cooler on my skin than others I’ve tried as well, I guess cause of the stitching they do. Wore them for the last month or so while awaiting surgery. Excited to have them on standby for my healing process. I’m 6’2, 290lbs and got the XL and they fit great. I haven’t skated in many years but feels good wearing something that reminds me of my roots.
I broke both femurs and ever since I had the surgery I have suffered a lot of knee pain. My right knee has suffered the most. I tried other knee sleeves and nada. I took a chance on Old Bones and I have not regretted it at all. I feel I need a little bit more support so my next purchase will be the knee sleeve with the hinges.

Digging these knee sleeves. They stay up great. A little hot and sweaty now that it’s summertime - especially under kneepads but us old dudes deserve some support. Any ideas how to make them a little more warm weather friendly? Maybe some vented panels or peek-a-boo holes?
I measured 20" circumference starting 4" above the very top of my knee and got the XL . Sizing fits perfect. I tried a different brand with straps and they were too constricting . The springs help stabilize my knee and keep the brace from bunching up. Full mobility is maintained even when my heel is touching my butt there is no discomfort on the back of my knee unlike other styles of compression sleeves. The knee cushion is great to have as well and helps keep the knee brace where it's supposed to be. I will definitely be getting another set once these become worn. Pair the sleeves with the pain cream and you are golden, leg locks for days ! Perfect for no gi! Make sure you have enough space in your gi pants otherwise they will choke your knees !
Over 25 years of martial arts I had so many injuries in my entire body but my knees are the ones how suffer the most. this knee braces are something else, I feel way more stability than others brands but the more important they are so good that I don’t feel that I’m wearing them… basically I just keep training.
I’m a 45 year old snowboarder that’s been riding for 32 years, and have had 2 ACL reconstructions in my right knee. I bought this and the hinged brace in hopes of replacing my old bulky, painful, prescription brace. I’m happy to report both of these are perfect! Since about 2005, I’ve tried every brace, compression sleeve, and stabilizer that you can buy from a sporting goods store or drug store. They all failed and always sent me back to wearing my prescription brace. Unlike these Old Bones braces, the other braces would bunch up behind my knee while on the lift, making my foot go numb. They would also drop below my knee and create pinch spots. These braces do what they are supposed to, provide compression, to help provide stability and reduce inflammation. They protect and help align your knee cap. They stay in place and don’t drop below your knee. Most importantly, I forget I’m wearing it and don’t have to quit snowboarding early because the brace is hurting my knee, which all others have done. I use this brace for smoother terrain or riding powder. When I plan to hit the park, superpipe, or ride more variable terrain, I’ll step it up to the hinged brace. Best part is, I bought them with my HSA card! At the beginning of the pandemic, my son picked up skating because it was an outdoor thing and distance was easy to keep. So, I dusted myself off to go with him, and promptly melted my knee (my 48yrbold meniscus said "nope!"). Once I was walking normally again, I needed a brace. I tried a few other over-the-counter options, but they just wouldn't stay put. I've seen Old Bones stuff on older guys at the parks, so I decided to give them a shot too. I got a knee brace and the padded ankle compression braces, and man oh man have they been exactly as advertised and exactly what I needed. My knee feels super solid while skating, and the brace doesn't move. The ankle sleeves keep my ankles solid and I don't have any swelling after a session any more. I don't have a prayer of keeping up with my son, but I can still pull a grind or two that gets his attention, and that feels great.
I’ve been riding bmx flatland since I was 15. I’m now 52 and sadly my knees took a beating over the years and need some support. My husband came across an ad for Old Bones while doom scrolling. He sent it over to me. I started researching all of their knee braces and settled on the compression sleeve with hinges. I’ve had two back to back knee surgeries on my right knee and have unfortunately been nicknamed Bonnie Parker, due to how I walk now. As soon as the compression sleeve showed up, I put it on and it’s like the pain just melted away. I have already bragged all over all my social media and had multiple people ask me for the link!
No injuries, just aging loose sore creaky clicky knees. I wasn’t sure which knee sleeves to get for mountain biking and I chose the sleeves with springs and they’re perfect! I have way more comfort and confidence in stomping on the pedals and hammering explosive pedal strokes. I didn’t know I needed these, I love them.
How about making these with integrated with knee and shin armor? Please?
Gottah tell ya, I have every version og knee brace now. I use the regular for daily, the bars for exercise and the springs for cardio. Awesome product. The springs really help with movement and stability. And it’s comfortable enough to be able to wear it for hours. Recommend!
